Access

• Documentation is public; a sandbox is available on request.
• Client credentials with a client id and secret entered per practice, sent as POST parameters (not an HTTP Basic header).
• Never copy client_id or client_secret onto data-call query strings — data calls then fail with 400 “Unknown query param: client_id”.

Known behaviour

• An unfiltered Observation?patient=<id> search is allowed.
• Observation?valueString:contains= is rejected with 400 “Unknown query param”. Text searching is not available.
• PHQ depression screening scores are available as structured QuestionnaireResponse resources — read them there rather than searching observations by text.
• Patient matching by name plus date of birth works without a ZIP tie-breaker.
